Great place! Food very good and waiters very helpful. Good for birthday party!

The service was lousy the waiter walked away before I finished my request and came with the wrong item after this happened multiple times- it was my grand daughter's birthday and she was so excited-- it was so hot because they had space heaters and we were told they couldn't shut them off and couldn't change our table they were busy- meal was rushed and food crowed the table as we were on a folding table-- we were a party of 8 on a table for maybe 6-- when dessert came asked for coffee 4 times dessert finished and 3 of the party still did not get served-- no apology just presented with the check with desert tray- For a place that totes Italian tradition I am appalled. I have to make clear that this is the one on Staten Island I have eaten at the place in Brooklyn and highly recommend them if u want to spend this kind of money go to Brooklyn they are wonderful esp to large parties-- sorry u know it was bad if I took the time to write this lengthy.

Just picked up our to go order and had a family lunch. Everything was hot and delicious. Great portions and wonderfully prepared. We got eggplant rolatini, grilled octopus, calamari, shrimp parm, lamb chops and the caponata. Perfectly executed and all the food is gone. Thank you thank you. May you stay open and be busy for many many years with your deliciousness.

I can see how this place may have built it's reputation but I have to say, I wasn't really floored by the cuisine. Nothing was bad but nothing was great. I dont think the average diner will be dissatisfied and the whole Italian American Staten Island experience will make it worthwhile for many. I might give em a second chance someday but on an Island with 1,256 Italian restaurants the cuisine has gotta be great to stand out.

We have gone there quite a few times, and by far today was the worst experience. Rude waiter, fast to take order without us completing our order. Did not refill our drinks, long waits between food (we ordered two family style dinners).

Single handled ruined my Valentine’s Day. I made RESERVATIONS here for 8pm. I left work early, got all dressed up and showed up just to be told I had to wait another 30 minutes. Why should I if I had made a reservation? The attendant pointed to a pathetic notepad showing me a line of people ahead of me why I asked her that question. If you don’t know what a reservation is, don’t offer them and make people think they have a table ready for them especially on special occasions. Btw, their eggplant was served cold the first time I was here. This will certainly be the last.

This restaurant has some great Italian food options and the service is attentive and friendly. The food reaches your table rather quickly which is great. The one thing I personally don't appreciate is how loud this place is. Whatever music they play over the loudspeakers can be quite deafening and makes its difficult to have a nice conversation

Excellent place for family style eats. Just try to make a reservation and also get there early if it's on a Sunday. Pasta and calimari were delicious!

It was such a nice restaurant! Delicious food, such a homey welcoming truly Italian environment! Very nice servers who came around very often, good music, large portions and generally extremely good. An awesome place with great people! Many rounds of Happy Birthday Songs, and cute waiters.

This is a great local chain of family friendly Italian restaurants. It is very popular for birthdays, as the staff do what they can to make it special. On a recent visit there were no fewer than 5 birthdays. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They are attentive but not intrusive. They strike a perfect balance.They also have the most authentic Italian style rum baba I've had outside of Italy. (The best is a small shop in Pavia) Unlike many bakeries in the US, the alcohol from the rum is largely burned off leaving a delicate flavor. It is present but it does not overpower.

Amazing service!! My family and I enjoy the ambiance anytime of the day that we visit the restaurant. The staff is very welcoming and attentive and the food is delicious. Never a disappointment.

Over rated. Food is okay. The atmosphere is unwelcoming. Very crowded and loud. The family style meal is mostly filling. Tried it two times hoping the experience would be better. The first time, the waiter took a seat from my table when someone stood up for the rest room. This time, they rushed us out. All of the desserts have nuts and some of us have nut allergies. Their alternative was charging us extra for 2 teaspoon scoops of ice cream. I will never understand how this place remains popular and high in status!

The food was good and the waiters were very nice. We came here for that half pizza half calzone thing, which wasn't officially on the menu at the SI location, but they said they could make it anyway. They give you bread that you can dip into this oil that has herbs and spices in it, while you're waiting for your food. That was pretty delicious too. My only complaint was that they brought out the condiments pretty late into our meal. By the time they gave us the parmesan, we were about ready to leave.

This place is very good. The food is mostly good, some dishes are incredible. The staff is very good. A supreme family dive and a great lunch date local. If you haven't tried this place yet, I don't know what you're waiting for.

The food was great. Was there celebrating my mother in law's birthday. Chris our Egyptian waiter was terrific!! Was very helpful and "johnny on the spot" when we needed or wanted anything. 5 stars!! The atmosphere was very upbeat, music was a little loud but they turned it down for us.

Good Italian food, warm and loud atmosphere, definitely need reservations. If large group get "banquet " this way you get appetizers, many delicious family style main dishes, deserts, coffee/teas and ...... SANGRIA , red and white wine, all included!

I ordered the wrong food and they delivered the order I wanted free of charge and let me keep the order I messed up on. First time I ordered from them, but will definitely order from them more frequent now.

Loud music, obnoxious atmosphere....is what I said waiting for a table. Part of the family, a lot of fun is what I said when I left the restaurant. This place grows on you. It's just one giant family and the staff is great. Antonio is an awesome waiter and incredibly considerate. Got surprised for my birthday, personal pizza is nowhere near filling, but the pasta dishes are huge and flavorful.

Food is pretty good. Prices are pretty fair. Only reason 4 stars instead of 5 because they stuff too many ppl in especially weekends. Cant even get to your table sometimes forced to go around tables like a maze . And tables are small always a struggle to fit all the food on table .

Went for a surprise party. Staff was excellent and very accommodating. Had a variety of dishes and all were excellent. And if you need party balloons the store next door sells them and an employ of patrizia's will carry them in for you

Today we received the Mother’s Day menu. OMG. SO GOOD AND HOT. Definitely enough for 5 people. I can’t thank them enough from the first time they helped me with my wife’s 50th birthday. And today was just awesome. Thank you again!!!

You want a great night out of laughing, joking and just having a good time with fine tasting food, drinking wine. this is the Italian spot to go, I feel like I’m in Italy with the cheeses sausage hanging over where they prepare food. The staff right on top of everything bringing food out and clearing as you finish. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to have a loud good time with friends and family. If your looking for romantic this would not be the spot, it’s upbeat and fun!

Always a favorite for exquisitely prepared and tasty Italian food. I never had anything I did not enjoy thoroughly and I have had a taste of many items on the menu.
